Adapters
Adapters are used to increase the diameter of your printing cylinder / mandrel in order to use thin sleeve technology or just to increase your repeat range ability with the use of VRS sleeves. Adapters come in two variants, the independent air source adapter and the bleed through adapter.
The independent air source has internal air fittings and piping, allowing you to connect the air directly to the adapter. These adapters must have a minimum wall thickness of approximately 10mm. The Bleed adapter will allow the air pressure to bleed directly through it from the mandrel. These adapters will be between 5mm and 10mm in wall thickness.
